Widowhood can be an isolating and tender journey, and this afternoon is designed with you in mind. Join us for tea, dessert, and a time of encouragement together with Marci Hogg – a grief recovery specialist and counsellor who runs her own practice, Seasons Grief Recovery. Come and be loved, supported, and uplifted, surrounded by women who understand.

Ladies, join us for a three-week book study on Before Amen by Max Lucado – a practical and encouraging look at how we can connect with God through prayer. Whether prayer feels natural to you or something you’d like to grow in, this study offers an approachable way to deepen your conversation with God.

We’ll gather Thursday mornings at 9:15 am on May 14, 21, and 28. Each week includes just three short chapters to read – no homework beyond that – making it easy to participate, even in a busy season.

Ladies, join us for our first walk of the 2026 season at Weaselhead Flats.

You can meet at Bethany no later than 9:30 to carpool over, or, meet at the 6634 37 St SW parking lot @ 10:00. We’ll walk for about an hour. We’ll meet in the parking lot, so look for the big group!

Looking for a fun and meaningful week for your kids (ages 3–Grade 6)? Join us for VBS (Vacation Bible School)! Kids will discover what it means to be rooted in a relationship with their Creator—a safe place in life’s storms.

Cost: $45/child | $90/family

We’re also looking for volunteers to help make the week happen—there’s a role for everyone!

VBS & DRAMA CAMP

Parents, as you begin filling your summer calendars, be sure to save the dates for our annual children’s camps! Vacation Bible School Camp (VBS), for ages 3 to Grade 6, runs July 13-17, followed by Drama Camp from July 27-31, suited for Grades 1-6. More details will be shared in the coming weeks, but mark your calendars now for a summer your children won’t forget!
