Frequently Asked Questions
What will my child learn?
Our nursery and preschool areas provide an early opportunity for your kids to experience the love of God through worship, Bible stories, Christian living concepts, and group activities. Elementary age students can expect worship experiences, creative Bible teaching, skits, fun object lessons, and games. We focus on Salvation through Jesus Christ and basic Biblical truths.
where do i check-in my kids?
For kids from babies to elementary age, just come to the Bethany Kids Check-In area when you arrive on a Sunday. Someone will be there to help and to walk you to your child’s class.
Do i need to register my children?
Yes. Our safety protocols require us to collect information on you as a parent, as well as your children. Please click here to register your child/ren.
What if you need to get in touch with me during the service?
First time guests with children will register at our Bethany Kids check-in station, just to the right of the front doors when you enter. Once each child is registered, parents will be given a parent tag with a security code. We will put the security code on the screens in the top left and right-hand corners of the sanctuary if there are any concerns.
Will my child make friends?
When you commit to attending the same service each week, your child will be surrounded by a small group full of familiar faces. As kids build relationships with leaders and other children, they will form friendships, as well as gain the support and confidence to grow in their faith.
What about safety?
We take security and safety seriously at Bethany Chapel. Every Bethany Kids team member is background checked and trained to provide a safe and nurturing environment so that you can attend adult services with confidence your children are safe and receiving excellent care.

Questions & Answers
God, the Bible, and we as a church, hold children with high regard, so thank you for desiring to have your child dedicated at Bethany Chapel!
Dedication of children actually has a two-fold focus. Parents dedicate their child to the care, service and glory of Jesus Christ, publicly affirming that they desire that their child know, love and serve Jesus Christ throughout his / her life. They acknowledge God’s priority in their child’s life and yield him / her to the sovereignty of the Lord.
At the same time, the dedication ceremony is a public dedication by parents of themselves to be stewards of the life of their child. It is a commitment to honour Christ Jesus before their child, to direct him / her toward the Lord, and to obey Christ in the parenting process. It is a public acknowledgement of a role as stewards over children rather than owners. It is a public commitment to raise their child in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. In many ways, then, it is as much a dedication of parents as it is of children.
