Imagine walking the dusty roads of Galilee with Jesus of Nazareth―braving jostling crowds just to touch the edge of His cloak and hear Him say, “Take heart, daughter, your faith has healed you.”
Those words, once meant to comfort a hurting woman’s soul thousands of years ago, were also meant for you.
Join biblical culturalist Kristi McLelland on those dusty roads as she transports you back to Jesus’ world, following in the footsteps of the women who came face-to-face with the Living God. Over 7 sessions, examine the historical and cultural climate of first-century Middle Eastern society to not only understand Jesus more deeply but to fuel your worship of Him today.

LADIES’ EVENING SPRING BIBLE STUDY
There is still time to sign-up for our evening spring Bible study. We’ll be digging into the Scriptures to meditate upon God’s goodness through the book, A Table in the Wilderness.
Cost - $30 (no childcare is available)
Time - 6:30 - 8:30 pm
Dates - April 10 - May 22
BOW VALLEY PROVINCIAL PARK - MAY 28
Ladies, if you would like to join others for some healthy hikes in our beautiful Rocky Mountains, be sure to join our Bethany Trekkers!
The first monthly hike will be Tuesday, May 28th, 2024. We’ll meet at the church @ 8:45 am and carpool from here. We ask that each passenger contribute $15 to the driver to cover gas/pass costs.
We will be hiking around Bow Valley Provincial Park. There are several trails that leave from the parking lot for Middle Lake. We will have different groups based on ability.
- Basic experience and proper footwear required
- Hiking poles and bear spray highly recommended
- Ladies 16+ only
- No pets
- Water required
- Snacks/lunch highly recommended
- A valid Kananaskis pass is required for each vehicle parked in the lot

Wednesdays Summer Walks in the Park
Join our "Walk in the Park" program! We will meet every other Wed at different parks around Calgary to go for a walk. We can have snacks or even lunch together!
Our first walk will be Wednesday, June 5th @ 9:30 AM at the Weaselhead Flats Parking area: 6634 37th Street SW, Calgary.
This is the perfect opportunity to get out and enjoy God's creation, to get to know someone new, or to become someone's pray warrior.
We will have a form to fill out online just so we know roughly how many people to expect. Feel free to invite a friend!
Please make sure you bring proper walking shoes and water/snacks!
These walks are weather dependent! An email will be sent out if a walk is going to be cancelled.
We will pick a different park each time we meet so check our website for details or sign up for our summer email that will make sure to share all the happenings in our Women's Ministry this summer!
